Answer: This cartridge is a Carron Alba tap spare and is compatible with valves that use the 1427R cartridge. The newer version of the cartridge is the SP3547 which has one thread.
This Carron Alba cartridge (1427R compatible) has 2 threads but it will fit in the taps using the newer version of the cartridge.
