Carron Phoenix Flora Tap Cartridge Installation Guide

This Carron Phoenix Flora compatible tap cartridge is a ceramic disc cartridge. It is a cold side tap valve insert which goes to the right side of the tap. As a precautionary measure, turn off the tap’s water lines before starting the tap repair.

1. Loosen the grub screw which is located under the tap handle.

2. Pull to remove the tap handle.

3. Grip an adjustable spanner on the nut of the old cartridge and turn it anti-clockwise to remove.

4. Flush the tap valve seat with water if necessary.

5. Use silicone grease on the O-ring of the replacement Carron Phoenix Flora tap cartridge. A thin coating would do. Please see the section below for the available plumbing grease.

6. Seat the new compatible cartridge in the tap valve. Tighten the threads and reattach the tap handle.
