Answer: It will depend on the tap model you have. The grub screw can be

– at the back of the lever handle (it can be exposed or hidden under a circular screw cap);
– or hidden under the red and blue indice.

Once you locate the screw, loosen it to separate the handle from the tap. Then use a spanner to remove the retaining nut and pull the Franke 1988040 cartridge out.
