Both the 2307R-H and the 3547R-H are compatible with the hot side of a Franke Planar kitchen tap. (The difference between the two cartridges will be stated below.) It opens with a clockwise ¼ turn and closes anticlockwise. The diameter of the spline is 7.8mm and has 28 teeth.

Franke Planar Tap Spare Modifications
The kitchen tap model of the Planar made by kitchen hardware manufacturer, Franke, underwent two modifications. The first version was produced until February 2008 and the latest was out in the market after February 2008. To meet the internal specifications made by the change, the cartridge utilized by the tap has three versions.

- Cartridge 2307R is suitable for new Planar tap. Its splines count to 28. The bottom seal of this cartridge is slightly bigger than the also new 3547R and it is designed with two threads.

- 3547R is another cartridge version compatible with the Planar. The spline is equipped with 28 teeth. It has a slightly smaller bottom seal than the 2307R and it is made with a single thread.

- 3549R is the earliest cartridge that fits the first version (pre-February 2008) of the Planar. It has a 20 teeth spline.
