Answer: You can start by isolating the sink’s water supplies. Remove the grub screw under the handle with a 2.5-millimeter Allen key. Remove the plastic insert. Unscrew the old cartridge from the tap using an adjustable spanner.

Apply a thin layer of plumbing silicone lubricant on the O-ring of the new Franke Verbier tap cartridge spare. Seat the cartridge in the valve and tighten it with the spanner. Then, put the parts back together for handle reassembly.
