Matki CS-P081400003 Shower Diverter Flow Cartridge with Flange

SUMMARY

Matki CS-P081400003 Shower Diverter Flow Cartridge with Flange. The black plastic part of the cartridge in the photo is the replacement for the original blue plastic version.

*Important* - There are two variations of flange for this cartridge. This is the shorter flange. If you need the version that has an extended metal piece below the bottom thread then you need the Matki P0000000678 Diverter Cartridge.

Only one cartridge is included. The photo is for illustrative purposes only to show the top and bottom of the cartridge.

Flow Control & Diverter Cartridge Removal - Note, it is not possible to service the diverter cartridge, always renew.

Step 1 - Shut off water supply to both inlets, remove diverter lever, remove m5x20 grubscrew and remove m5x5 grubscrew using m2.5 allen key. Remove diverter handle.
Step 2 - Unscrew the flange (the metal part in the product photo) using a 19mm spanner.
Step 3 - Remove the diverter cartridge and base cartridge
Step 4 - Check the valve body for debris
Step 5 - Grease the cartridge, base seals and o'rings prior to inserting into valve body
Step 6 - Insert the base cartridge, aligning the locating pins
Step 7 - Fit plastic washer into cartridge and fit to flange, insert the flange / cartridge aligning the locating pegs into the base cartridge, tighten flange. Check diverter operation.
Step 8 - Refit knob tightening M5x 5 grubscrew, refit and tighten M5x20 grubscrew and refit lever.
