Question: How do I install this spare part in the shower valve?
Answer: The Ultra SVQ07 can be fitted in the Hudson Reed A3023 valve by:
1. Remove the screw caps. Use a 2.5mm Allen key to loosen the grub screw and remove the handles.
2. Remove the sleeves and slide out the concealing plate.
3. Remove the retaining nut by turning it anti-clockwise.
4. Use a box spanner to remove the faulty diverter.

5. Apply a small amount of silicon grease on all the O-rings of the new Ultra SVQ07 diverter cartridge.
6. Insert it in the valve and reassemble.

Question: Do I have to use silicone grease on the cartridge?
Answer: Yes, you have to. Silicone grease made for plumbing must be applied to the O-rings of the new Ultra SVQ07. This is to make sure the diverter cartridge will sit properly in the valve and the grease will protect the rings from friction and abrasion.

Answer:
1. Water is not redirecting from tap to shower head.
2. Water is leaking from the tap while the shower is in use.
