Installation of the cartridge is very simple. The unscrew the existing old cartridge from your tap valve, use a spanner and turn anti-clockwise. Sometimes the cartridge can be stuck in the valve tightly as limescale can build up around the thread and harden. We find that if you use a hammer to gently tap the spanner, it will help to crack the limescale seal and loosen the cartridge.

Remove the old cartridge, make sure the valve is clear of debris and screw the new one in. We recommend that you put silicone grease on the o'ring. This will keep the seal water tight and prevent the o'ring from deteriorating.
