Two 1/2" Pair of Quarter Turn Ceramic Disc Tap Cartridges - 20 Spline - 52mm Height

SUMMARY

Two flow tap cartridge replacements which are 1/2" thread collar quarter turn with ceramic disk. The two quality cartridges have the same measurements with one with a red silicone gasket for the hot tap and one with blue for the cold tap. The silicone gaskets are reinforced with metal.

There is a screw gland on the top and a screw fitting underneath the hood of this cartridge.

Question: The tap wont's turn, what is wrong?
Answer: It could be that the ceramic disks inside the cartridge have broken. If the ceramic disks are broken it may stop the tap from turning. If the disks are broken, it can also causes a crunching sound when turning the tap. Replacing the cartridge will fix the problem.

Question: My tap won't stop dripping, will replacing the tap cartridge fix the problem?
Answer: In most cases, changing the cartridge will fix the problem.

Question: What's the difference between a headworks and a flow cartride?
Answer: Headworks is generally used for taps which have the cartridge built into it. This is generally the case with old taps like the Victorian styles of past. Nowadays headworks, headwork, flow and tap cartridges are used interchangeably for pretty much the same thing, the device which turns water flow on and off.
