Question: I have an older version of this cartridge. Will this one replace it?
Answer: It depends what cartridge you have. You would be correct in thinking that there are actually older versions of the 412.01 cartridge and this is the replacement for it.

Important! The Radatherm Assembly is replacing an older design thermoscopic assembly. The new Radatherm capsule technology regulates the temperature of the water and replaces the old thermoscopic assembly technology which uses an actuator. This is the main different between the old and the new cartridge. It is better to replace the cartridge that try to replace the inner parts as if you replace any of the older parts with one from the new design, you'll have to replace the piston assembly, return spring and Radatherm assembly.
