Shower Spare Part: Installing the Francis Pegler 850987
Please shut off water supplies to the shower before proceeding to replace the Pegler 850987 Memento thermostatic cartridge.
1. Unscrew the white decorative cap in the centre of the handle.
2. Remove the handle retaining screw together with the washer which will allow the handle to detach.
3. Remove the headwork shroud. There might be a screw at the bottom of the shroud.
4. Remove the temperature stop ring and the second ring. The second ring can be removed by turning it anti-clockwise.
5. Use a 30mm spanner to unscrew the Pegler 850987 thermostatic cartridge. Remove the part from the valve.
6. Apply plumbing grease on the seals of the replacement Francis Pegler thermostatic cartridge 850987 and place it in the Memento shower valve. Screw and tighten with the spanner.
7. Reassemble the parts in reverse sequence.
