Should your shower mixer valve be experiencing any issues, there is high probability that the problem is with the HUB-001A-WAX thermostatic cartridge.

Take these following steps to determine whether you need a replacement HUB-001A-WAX for your Vado mixer:
1. Make sure there is a constant hot feed entering the valve.
2. Make sure there isn't anything blocking the gauze filters of the Vado HUB-001A-WAX thermostatic cartridge. If there is anything blocking them, this can restrict water flow into the cartridge and therefore affect performance.
