Guide to Fitting the Triton Thermostatic Cartridge 83310660
The three Triton showers, Mesca, Fontana, and Leona, are very similar to each other. The replacement procedure for the three is the same.

First, before proceeding to the replacement repair, turn off the shower’s cold and hot water supply lines. You may also plug your bath drain to keep the screws from tumbling in.

Dismantling
1. Remove the temperature knob assembly by unscrewing the centre screw.
2. Please note where the “stop” is located. Or take a snapshot of it for the reassembly process.
3. Undo the grub screw to release the cartridge.
4. As a layer of protection against abrasion, apply a thin coating of plumbing lubricant on the O-rings of the replacement Triton 83310660 thermostatic cartridge.
5. Fit the cartridge in the shower unit and secure the grub screw.

Temperature Adjustment
6. Switch on the cold and hot water supplies.
7. Set the temperature control knob on top of the splines.
8. Turn on the flow control to its maximum. With the water running, use a thermometer to check the temperature.
9. Rotate the spindle to the left to increase the temperature and to the right to decrease the temperature. Repeat this step until you achieve the temperature you prefer.

10. Return the stop ring in the same position as in step 2 – the stop must point at 12:00.
11. Refit the temperature knob and screw to secure.
