Buying Guide: 110mm Ceramic Disc Shower / Tap Cartridge

So, you want to know if this replacement 110mm ceramic disc cartridge will fit in your shower or tap valve? These are the ways to determine it.

1. Remove the cartridge from the shower or tap valve.

2. Grab a measuring tape or any normal ruler and measure the old cartridge you’ve just taken out. Then, see if the measurements are a match with those stated above. You can also use the second image in the gallery as a reference.

3. Grab a pen or any marker to mark the splines. After this, get ready to count the peaks of the splines. It must count to 24, the same as this 110mm ceramic disc cartridge, or else the spare part will not fit.

4. Make sure you get the correct side cartridge. This 110mm ceramic disc shower / tap cartridge insert is for the cold valve. This closes in a clockwise direction (and opens in the opposite).

Tip:
Don’t forget the importance of greasing the O-rings of the replacement shower and tap on/off cartridge. This will make it easy to seat and seal the part in the valve. Please scroll down to see the available silicone grease you can purchase.
