Fitting the Abode Atlas Tap Spare Cartridge

1. Turn off the tap’s water supply lines.

2. With a 2mm hexagonal key, loosen the grub screw located under the handle. This is opposite the lever. The handle can now be removed.

3. Remove the valve covering. You can turn it anti-clockwise by hand to remove it.

4. Use a 17mm spanner or an adjustable spanner to remove the old cartridge. Turn the spanner anti-clockwise.

5. Coat the O-ring of the replacement Abode Atlas tap cartridge spare before fitting it in the valve seat. (Silicone grease can be found in the last section of this page.) Tighten the threads.

6. Reconstruct the handle.
