The Abode Genio tap cartridge is a compatible ceramic valve. Brass covers the ceramic disc internals. The spare part has one O-ring. The blue bottom seal signifies the part is for the cold side of the tap, and therefore, closes clockwise and opens anti-clockwise.

There are two generations of the Abode Genio tap cartridge. The first one has a two-sided nut and the other a six-sided nut.
