The Bristan Wine tap cartridge is replaced when the kitchen tap sink mixer begins to drip from the spout or around the tap body. Tap handles that are difficult to rotate could be due to corrosion or limescale which means switching to a new cartridge could be required.
The hot and cold cartridges for the Bristan Wine are not interchangeable due to the direction it closes and opens. BRW3755 is the cold side replacement valve.
It can be necessary to grease the O-ring and red bottom seal of the Bristan Wine tap cartridge before fitting it in the tap body. It will allow the new kitchen tap part to seal in the valve properly.
