Is this Franke Bridge Lever tap spare the correct cartridge for your tap?

– To know the answer to this question, you have to look at the measurements of this cartridge and compare it with the cartridge you need to replace.

– The measurements of the cartridge you have can be taken by using a tape measure or a ruler.

– You can get the spline count of the cartridge you have by using a pen to mark the start point and slowly begin counting the notches from there.

– Important: This is a “hot” cartridge Franke Bridge Lever tap spare which must be installed in the “cold” side of the tap. The reason for this is the “cold” side of this particular tap opens clockwise (and this “hot” cartridge opens clockwise).

– Important: The reverse of the point above goes for the “cold” side cartridge. The “cold” side cartridge fits in the “hot” side of the tap. The reason being is the “hot” side of this tap opens anti-clockwise (and the “cold” cartridge opens anti-clockwise).
