1427R-H equivalent tap valve replacement spare part has a 28 teeth count on its spline. The spline has a 7.8-millimeter diameter. Please do check the second photo above for a diagram of the measurements.

Franke Davos and Davos J Cartridge Replacement Instruction
The process for changing the cartridge is the same with the Franke Davos and Davos “J”. Before starting, please do not forget to isolate the hot side water supply line. And to prevent screws from rolling in the drain, put a stopper on it.

1. Detach the red indicator indice from the hot side handle. You can use a flat tool to remove it.
2. Use a small screwdriver to unscrew the handle.
3. Use a spanner to undo the threads and remove the cartridge.
4. Coat the Franke Davos / Davos J replacement cartridge O-ring with plumbing grease.
5. Seat the cartridge in the kitchen tap valve. Tighten.
6. Assemble the handle and clip the red indice in place.

Signs a Kitchen Tap Cartridge Needs to be Changed

The Davos tap model has a flow rate of 4.5 liters per minute at 0.3 bar. Low water flow can be the result of a lack of water pressure or there are sediments in the cartridge blocking it.
