Question: What is the hot side cartridge as I will be replacing both cartridges for a comprehensive tap repair.
Answer: FR-DA66 is the Franke Davos tap cartridge hot side.

Question: How will I know if my Davos tap is before 2007?
Answer: You can know this by taking a look at the tap’s spout base. Pre-2007 valves will have a rounded locking nut. Post-2007 valve has a “flat-looking” locking nut (it’s not rounded or curved).

Also, please check out the measurement diagram in the second photo above and compare it with the measurements of the cartridge you need to replace. If you don’t have the cartridge with you, you can contact us and we will gladly assist you.

Question: Do you have a guide on how to change the Franke Davos tap cartridge?
Answer: Replacing cartridge in the Franke Davos tap is simple. All you need to do is:
– Remove the handle’s screw cap cover and loosen the screw.
– Pull the handle to remove it.
– Use a small spanner to remove the old cartridge.

– Apply silicone grease on the O-rings of the new Franke Davos tap cartridge and install it in the tap valve seat.
– Secure and tighten the cartridge with the spanner.
– Put back the handle, screw, and screw cap.
