Answer: This Franke Davos tap cartridge spare is only for the pre-2007 taps that have 18 splines. As mentioned above, there exists a version of this cartridge with 20 splines. Cartridges for post-2007 have 28 splines.

If the number of splines don’t match then it will not fit.
