Fitting the Franke Filterflow Kubus Tap Cartridge

Fitting the SP3561-H / 133.0194.088 compatible Franke Filterflow Kubus tap cartridge is an easy process that will only take a few minutes. Please turn off the tap’s water supplies before starting the repair.

1. The screw is located under the tap’s hot side handle. Use an Allen key to loosen the screw.

2. When the screw is adequately loosened pull the handle to remove it from the tap valve.

3. Unscrew, in an anti-clockwise direction, the valve cover by hand.

4. Grip a spanner on the nut part of the old SP3561-H / 133.0194.088 hot valve cartridge. Turn the spanner anti-clockwise to remove the part.

5. Grease the seal (O-ring) of the replacement Franke Filterflow Kubus tap cartridge. Seat the cartridge in the valve and screw the part in using the spanner.

6. Restore the valve cover. Turn it clockwise to secure it in place.

7. Put the tap handle back and tighten the screw till hand-tight.


Tap Repair Tip:
Use only silicone-based and heat resistant plumbing grease on the seals and rubber parts of the replacement Franke Filterflow Kubus tap cartridge. Other lubricant types may damage the seals and cause premature deterioration.
