Franke Mythos Tap Cartridge Spare 40mm Installation Guide

Please be certain that water supply lines are turned off before starting the Franke Mythos kitchen tap repair.

1. Loosen the screw on the underside of the tap handle. Pull to remove the handle.
2. Remove the cartridge retaining nut.
3. Lift the old cartridge to remove it from the tap valve.

4. Coat the bottom O-ring of the replacement Franke Mythos tap cartridge. (A selection of silicone grease can be found at the section below.)
5. Seat the cartridge in the valve. Make sure the locating pins are inserted in the right holes in the tap to prevent it from turning.
6. Restore the retaining nut and the tap handle.
