Question: How do I fit the Crosswater X2A044N-1?
Answer: Below is the process for changing the Crosswater X2A044N-1 diverter cartridge. Isolate water supplies before starting.

1. Look for the diverter handle’s grub screw and loosen the said screw.

2. Remove the cover with the retaining nut.

3. Pull out the faulty diverter cartridge.

4. Grease the seals of the replacement Crosswater X2A044N-1. Use only heat-resistant and silicone-based plumbing grease. (Please scroll down to the last section to see the available silicone grease made for plumbing applications.)

5. Insert the new diverter cartridge in the valve. Make sure the two lugs under the cartridge are introduced in their specific slots to prevent it from shifting.

6. Put in the retaining nut and screw it in place.

7. Return the cover and the handle.
