Question: Will this flow cartridge cure a dripping Frontline shower?
Answer: Yes, it can, provided the dripping is the result of a faulty Frontline shower flow cartridge. Leaks can be caused by a broken O-ring or seal which can wear out after prolonged use. Or a buildup has formed in the brass barrel of the ceramic disc cartridge.

Applying a small bead of silicone grease on the O-ring/seal of the replacement part before installing it in the valve will help it squeeze and seal in the valve properly. For the plumbers grease we offer, please refer to the “Other Items” section below.

Please also check the non-return valve as this can be a possible reason for showers leaking from the shower head.

Question: It sounds like the flow cartridge is clicking when I turn on the Frontline shower. Why is this?
Answer: Showers should not click when turning the control handle. It could be the Frontline flow cartridge has a problem and a replacement could stop the clicking sound.
