Answer: Fitting the Bathstore 35mm spare cartridge in the Blade Basin Mono tap:

– Turn off the tap’s water supplies.

– The screw cover cap can be found at the back of the lever handle. Remove the screw cap. Use an Allen key to loosen the screw.

– Lift the handle to separate it from the tap valve.

– Unscrew the cartridge cover by hand. Turning it anti-clockwise will remove it.

– Use a spanner against the cartridge retaining nut to unscrew the part.

– Pull the old lever cartridge out of the Blade Basin Mono tap valve seat.

– Lubricate the O-rings of the replacement Bathstore 35mm spare cartridge (90000014170) before fitting it in the valve.

– Put the tap handle on the lever part of the cartridge. See to it that the handle is in the “on” position. This will alleviate some pressure from the seals.

– Secure the handle with the screw and push the screw cover cap back in place.

– Open the tap’s water supplies to check if the Bathstore 35mm spare cartridge is installed properly.
