Question: Can this replacement handle fit in the Ultra 3/4 Dual Control Valve with Edwardian handle?
Answer: The Ultra SA3093HK will fit the Ultra 3/4 inch dual shower valve regardless the handle design. It is also the handle replacement for some valves that use the SNINASF thermostatic cartridge assembly.

Question: Shower valve handle is loose on the valve. Do I need to replace the SA3093HK?
Answer: Check if the retaining screw is adequately tightened. If it is, the threads might be wearing out or the handle’s splines are damaged. Splines that are stripped is irreparable. Hence, a replacement Ultra SA3093HK is needed.

Question: What makes the shower valve handle difficult to remove?
Answer: Replacing the SA3093HK can be easy. However, it can be time-consuming when the handle refuses to budge from the shower valve.

– Corrosion can form on the underside of the handle. This will make it difficult to separate it from the valve. You can try to keep on pulling the handle out forcefully and see if it works.

– Limescale that has hardened on the splines of the Ultra SA3093HK handle can also make it difficult to remove. Spray WD-40 and let it soak for a few hours or overnight to help soften the limescale. (Note: Do not use vinegar mixture as the acid can damage the shower valve and its parts.)
