- Question: I can't see a spring on the cartridge which I extracted from my valve. Is this the correct cartridge?
- Answer: It's likely the spring is either inside the valve still otherwise it probably doesn't have a spring because you have the screw in version of the cartridge. Check whether you have a screw thread on the cartridge.

- Question: My Bristan Sigma shower is running cold. Do I need to replace the thermo cart?
- Answer: If you are receiving a steady feed of hot and cold to the shower valve then it does sound like the thermostatic cartridge is at fault and you'll therefore need to replace it with the CART 06734B.
