A. Make sure that your plumber has thoroughly checked the shower valve is receiving both ho and cold water. If it is, then the problem is likely your cartridge. The issue here is that cartridge lifespans are so varied: one could last you several decades, others several weeks. We hope that, when you make a replacement, the replacement lasts much longer!
Please note that this is a push fit installation cartridge and not a screw in fit.
