Matki SB1401 Thermostatic Cartridge General Information

The Matki SB1401 is a TMV compliant WRAS accredited thermostatic cartridge for the Makti Elixir EX5 and Absolute 2115. When hot or cold water supply fails, this cartridge – being thermally protected – will shut down in 1.5 seconds. When water pressure swings, this SB1401 shower cartridge can control the temperature at about 1°.

It is manufactured using high-grade engineered polymer. This patented shower cartridge is resistant to hard water build-up.

The Matki SB1401 thermostatic cartridge is for shower valves that have separate controls for flow and temperature. It is the apt replacement cartridge for dual and triple control shower valves.

This cartridge can take hot water temperature ranging from 55℃ (131℉) to 65℃ (149℉). The cold water supply temperature is around 25℃ (77℉). It is suitable for low pressure and high pressure systems with 0.1 bar dynamic as the minimum working pressure and 10 bar static as the maximum working pressure.

This Matki thermostatic cartridge for shower Elixir EX5 is reversible, meaning in case the hot and cold supplies are installed wrong, the hot and cold in the cartridge can be interchanged.
