– 91mm (9.1cm) in length,
– 33.8mm (3.38cm) at its widest part,
– 9.5mm in spindle diameter,

Replacing the SBARCA04 Ultra Thermostatic Shower Cartridge

Before starting the repair with the Ultra SBARCA04 see to it that hot and cold water supplies are shut off.

The SBARCA04 in the JTY369 and A3558 shower valves can be accessed by:
– prising out the end cap on the temperature control handle and loosening the retaining screw under it;

– remove the handle and the white temperature stop ring (make sure to remember the position of the elevated part in the stop ring which must rest on the same position at reassembly);

– undo the grub screw holding the cartridge in the valve and pull the cartridge out;

– coat the replacement Ultra SBARCA04 thermostatic shower cartridge with the proper silicone grease (please scroll to the last section of the page to purchase the heat-resistant plumbing grease we offer.);

– push the new Ultra thermostatic shower cartridge in the JTY369 or A3558 valve and secure it in place with the grub screw;

– reassemble the valve.
