How to Change the Franke Filterflow Corinthian Cartridge – Hot Side

1. Isolate hot and cold water supply lines connected to the kitchen tap. Is isolation valves cannot be found shut off the supply near the water meter.

2. Block your drain to prevent small parts from dropping in it.

3. The left side of the tap always belongs to the hot side. Pop out the hot indicator to reveal the screw under it. Undo the screw to release the handle.

4. Remove the valve cover or protective shroud to reveal the red bottom seal cartridge.

5. The SP3984-H is a screw-in cartridge, therefore a small spanner must be used to unscrew it.

6. Grease a tiny amount of silicone lubricant on the external O-ring of the new Franke Filterflow Corinthian tap spare cartridge.

7. Insert the cartridge and secure its threads with the tap valve using a spanner.

8. Replicate steps one to four in reverse order to construct the handle.
