Build your own steam room with the exclusive Di Vapor steam generator kit, which includes everything you need to get up and running. The steam generator boils water drawn from your main supply to start producing steam. This steam is sent down the outlet pipe into your newly built steam room, working to increase the temperature of the space set by the user.

Steam Room vs Sauna

A steam room works to increase both humidity and temperature - the higher the humidity within the spare, the hotter the user will feel at the same temperature. A steam room can feel significantly hotter that a dry sauna at the same temperature due to the difference in humidity.

High Quality Materials

The Di Vapor steam generator is designed to last, with stainless steel reservoir and casing. The heating element is built from a combination of alloy materials suitable for residential environments.

Warranty and Support

All Di Vapor kits are built to the standards expected by the Di Vapor brand, complete with a 12 months warranty against all parts. In addition, all kits are supported by our extensive spares range.

This 9kW steam generator is for 4.5 cubic metre steam rooms. It can tolerate water pressure up to 2kg/cm2. The steam time setting and the temperature can be adjusted through the control panel. Steam time can be set from 5 minutes to 60 minutes. And the temperature can be set from 25℃ (77℉) to 60℃ (140℉). This steam generator is designed for residential recreational use only and should not be run continuously.

It is recommended that only a qualified electrician or plumber install the 9kW steam generator to prevent connection errors and as a safety measure.

Troubleshooting Guide: 9kW Steam Generator
1. The 9kW steam generator is on, but it is not generating steam.
Likely Causes: A damaged circuit board or there is not enough water in the reservoir.
Solution:
– See to it the water supply valve is switched to “on”.
– See to it the draining valve is switched to “off”.
– Wait for 10 minutes and see if the unit will generate steam.
– See that the magnetic valve is in good condition and voltage passes through the magnetic loop.
– Replace the circuit valve.

2. The 9kW steam generator is off, but steam is still generated.
Likely Causes: The device that controls the steam generator’s circuit is defective.
Solution:
– Switch the power supply off.
– Change the circuitry control device.

3. The steam head is dripping water.
Likely Causes: A faulty magnetic valve or a loose connection between the probe wire and the probe wire board.
Solution:
– Turn off the power and water supplies.
– Replace the magnetic valve.
– Check the connection between the probe wire and probe wire board.
– See to it the water pressure is not too high. If it is too high, lower it or install a pressure reducing valve. The magnetic valve can take up to 2kg/cm2 water pressure.

4. The indicator light is off and water is not flowing in, but the 9kW steam generator can still manage steam.
Likely Causes: The connection was done wrong or there is no power supply. Another likely cause is a problem with the circuit board controller or a short in the control wire.
Solution:
– Verify the connection and check the power supply switch.
– If the controller, circuit board, or control wire is faulty, replace the said parts.

5. The unit is still working even though it is disconnected from the water supply.
Likely Causes: The 9kW steam generator could be incorrectly grounded. There might be a short in the control wire. Or, the circuit board is worn out.
Solution:
– Check the grounded connection.
– See if the water reservoir and the circuit board are connected correctly.
– Disengage the power supply from the controller and circuit board connection. Then, reconnect the power supply. If the unit works, replace the circuit board. If it does not work, check the connection of the control wire in the circuit board.

6. Water is still flowing out of the spout even if the unit is switched off.
Likely Causes: The magnetic valve and the circuit board was damaged because of high water pressure.
Solution:
– Cut off the power supply and replace the magnetic valve.
– Clean the magnetic valve and see if it functions as intended.
– Replace the circuit board.
– Adjust water pressure of it is too high.

7. The control panel of the steam generator is on, but steam is not generated.
Likely Causes: The water level in the tank is inadequate. Or, there is a problem with the timer, the water probe, heating element, or circuit board. Another cause might be a loosely connected temperature probe or the time and temperature have to be re-set.
Solution:
– Switch the control panel off. Then, drain the water for the tank. Close the draining valve. Switch on the 9kW steam generator. Fill the tank with water.
– The heating element can be tested by removing the wire in the heating element and testing it with a voltage gauge. If the voltage is 220V, replace the heating element.

8. Water does not fill the tank after draining the water.
Likely Causes: Water is failing to flow in. A faulty magnetic valve. A problem with the controller, circuit board or water level probe.
Solution:
– Close the draining valve.
– Check if the ball valve is open.
– Replace the circuit board, the control wire, the controller, or the magnetic valve.
– Remove and clean the connection wire and the magnetic valve.
