Designed by Carlo Casagrande with a circular ring design, this tap is operated through a sensor which is activated when the user puts their hands under the tap - pretty standard these days really. |

26. Francis Pegler Water Filter Tap
Francis Pegler, one of the leading brands in British mixer taps have partnered with Brita to create a kitchen tap which filters water as it passes through the tap. This ingenious concept and design is perfect for those who want to easily improve the quality of their drinking water but without the hassle of using a water filter jug, or a big water purifying system installed in the house. The chrome finished tap takes water filter cartridges (which is usually placed under the sink) which need to be replaces every 500 litres which passes through it. An LED on the cartridge exchange indicates when a cartridge needs to be replaced. The concept behind the tap is brilliant and will certainly spark conversations in the kitchens with your visitors. |

30. Swan Sink & Tap | |
Amin Design presents you with this very special sink, inspired and designed in the shape of a swan. It's a long way off ones normal design for a bathroom sink or tap, which gives this design a nice fresh feeling to it. The sink does look very small so it would suit bathrooms which don't have much space. This is a sink and tap with a lot of personality. |

32. Sun Liang Ring Faucet
The Ring Faucet by Sun Liang circulates water around the 'ring' of the tap. As the top of the tap is open, it allows light to resonate down through the water, which depending on the light in your bathroom can make the water shimmer. I won't describe it like the manufacturer did as "Water is 'reinstated' as a precious element, like a fine diamond"... whatever that means! |

33. The Aquarium Sink | |
Now we're talking, an aquarium sink! Designed by Rossari, you will now be able to see all your favourite fishy friends dash away from your hands as you're scrubbing them down. I don't know the ins and outs of the practicalities of removing the top piece as to remove deceased fish (from the heart attacks they'll get every time you approach), or general maintenance such as cleaning the algae off the side of the glass, but I presume it's not that difficult. http://www.giant.co.uk/even1.html |

34. Towel Rail Faucet | |
How about that, a towel rail and a faucet in one! That is what the Neve faucet offers you with its long pipe like design. It may be another one of those 'love it' or 'hate it' taps, but as for me I'm quite indifferent about it. |

35. Bandini's Arya Faucet
The wall mounted 'faucet' Arya from Bandini could be a cutting edge design, but then again, it could also be scrap cuttings from an acrylics manufacturer stuck together. On a serious side though, it would definitely catch your attention if you walked into a hotel and they had this in their bathroom. To have this in your own home you will need a rather large wall to mount it on. So all in all, it does how an impactive wow factor, and after all, that's what carves the way for fresh trends in the design world. |

36. The Fossil Faucet | |
The Ammonite washbasin from HighTech has been modelled after an ancient fossil constructed from concrete. Obviously the finish of the quality is top notch and can't be compared to the concrete on a patio. The sink is produced in a variety of sizes ranging from 90cm to 330cm and can be bought in a variety of different colours. A brilliant impactive design it is, but on a practical level it may be difficult to use for other things such as filling up a bucket or washing clothes, but then again if you're going for this sink, you will have other more practical sinks around your house if you ever need to use them for the more mundane things. |
